A Vision in the Sky: A Divine Message Only I Could See (Part One)

Have you ever experienced a dream so vivid, so profound, that it felt more real than reality itself? That’s exactly what happened to me recently. I had a dream that left me shaken, inspired, and full of questions. Was it a divine message? Was God trying to tell me something? As I reflect on it, I feel compelled to share this experience with you, hoping it may resonate with someone who has felt a similar calling.

The Dream: A Test, A Journey, and A Revelation

In the dream, my workplace was conducting a test for all employees. It was an important evaluation, something that everyone had to complete. However, instead of rushing to take my test immediately, I decided to go on my lunch break first.

I chose to go cycling during my break, feeling the wind against my face as I rode through the streets, enjoying a moment of personal freedom before returning to work. But on my way back, something extraordinary happened.

I paused. Something in the atmosphere shifted, as if time itself slowed down for me. I looked up—and there it was.

Messages in the Sky: A Divine Revelation

Above me, the sky was filled with bold, capitalized white letters, scrolling rapidly across the heavens. It wasn’t just one message—it was hundreds of messages, moving too fast for me to read. The words were powerful, luminous, and undeniable. I strained my eyes, trying desperately to read them, to capture even a fraction of what was being revealed. But they moved too quickly, slipping away before I could grasp their meaning.

What struck me the most wasn’t just the overwhelming presence of these divine messages—it was the fact that I was the only one who saw them.

All around me, people continued walking, cycling, talking, and going about their day as if nothing was happening. No one else seemed to notice. They were oblivious to the messages from God unfolding above them. It was as if the vision was meant for me alone.

What Does It Mean?

Waking up, my heart was pounding. The dream felt like more than just a dream—it felt like a divine call to awareness. But what was the message? Why was I shown something that others couldn’t see? And why was it so difficult to read?

As I meditated on the dream, I thought about biblical parallels where God communicated in supernatural ways:

Daniel’s Vision (Daniel 12:4, 9-10): Daniel was given revelations about the end times, but he was told that the words were sealed until the appointed time. Could it be that God was showing me something for the future, something I am not yet meant to fully understand?

The Writing on the Wall (Daniel 5:5-31): King Belshazzar saw divine writing, but he could not interpret it. Only Daniel, with God’s wisdom, could read and explain it. Perhaps I need to seek deeper wisdom to understand my vision.

Paul’s Vision on the Road to Damascus (Acts 22:6-9): Paul saw a great light and heard the voice of Jesus, but those around him did not perceive it as he did. Similarly, in my dream, I was the only one who could see the messages in the sky.

John’s Revelation (Revelation 10:8-11): John was given a scroll to eat, symbolizing the reception of divine knowledge. Maybe God is preparing me to receive something, but it’s not yet fully revealed.

A Call to Be Spiritually Awake

The most powerful aspect of this dream was the fact that no one else saw it. It reminded me of how, in today’s world, many people go about their daily lives unaware of God’s messages. We are often too busy, too distracted, or too preoccupied to look up and see what God is showing us.

But what if God is calling some of us to be watchmen? To be awake while others sleep? To be receivers of His messages, even when they seem too fast, too vast, or too mysterious to comprehend?

What Should We Do When God Sends a Message?

If you have ever experienced a dream, a vision, or a strong sense that God is trying to communicate something to you, consider these steps:

1. Pray for Clarity – Ask God to slow down the message or reveal it in a way you can understand. (Jeremiah 33:3 – "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.")

2. Seek Wisdom – Sometimes, understanding comes over time. Keep seeking knowledge through Scripture and spiritual mentors. (Proverbs 2:6 – "For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.")

3. Pay Attention to Confirmation – God often repeats His messages in different ways until we grasp them. Be mindful of other dreams, scriptures, or events that align with your vision.

4. Stay Spiritually Awake – Just like in the dream, others may not see what you see. That doesn’t mean it isn’t real. God calls individuals to be His messengers, even when the world isn’t paying attention.

Final Thoughts: A Message Yet to Be Understood

I still don’t fully know what the scrolling messages in my dream meant. But I do know that they were from God, and that He wanted me to see them. Perhaps the meaning will be revealed in time. Perhaps it was a call to stay alert, to look up when others don’t, to be a witness to His voice even when it moves too fast to comprehend in the moment.

Maybe you, too, have had experiences like this—moments when you felt that God was speaking, but you couldn’t quite grasp the full message. If so, I encourage you to seek Him, to listen, and to stay awake. Because when God writes messages in the sky, they are never meaningless. They are a call to something greater.
